This tutorials shows how to use different features of the scanline renderer with a focus on lighting and texturing. It is a great tutorial for beginning users or users that haven't played a lot with the renderers in 3ds max.
If you haven't heard of the scanline renderer, chances are you're using it! It's basically the default 3ds max renderer, and it's not because it's the default one that you cannot achieve cool effects with it!
